Co-op Collective Vision is looking for volunteers and interns to help develop our social cooperative. If you need to complete a stage or would like to obtain credits by volunteering with a community group, we would like to hear from you. Concordia Communications students may obtain 3 credits by completing an internship with us.

AVAILABLE INTERN POSITIONS

ASSISTANT MEDIA COUNSELOR – March Break

At Creative Video Day Camp, youth learn about video production and create and broadcast their productions. We offer a variety of courses including camera operating, sound design, video editing, graphic design, acting, flash animation and web development. We are looking for interns to teach media courses. The intern will assist in production and teaching lessons for youth age 6 – 14.

An ideal candidate will have

• Experience working at youth camps
• Knowledge of video production
• Knowledge of how youth engage with media

MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS

We are looking for interns interested in promoting our media education services to the community at large so that we can increase our registrations.

We currently run a March Break Video Camp, A Summer Video Camp and offer specialized extracurricular programming in elementary schools.

We are looking for an ambitious marketing & communications student interested in taking our marketing to the next level. We are looking for someone interested in developing some promotional tools that showcase our amazing programs. If you have interest in producing video’s, writing and designing marketing materials, articles, presentations, brochures, press releases and updating website content, media outreach, developing and executing marketing campaigns, social media content development (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc.), we would like to hear from you.

An ideal candidate will have

• Experience in marketing and/or Communications
• Graphic Design Skills
• Knowledge of video production
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.
