FUNdamentals of
Video Production
Creative Video introduces students to the video production process in a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment. Students will develop essential storytelling skills and learn the basics of video production, and video editing and special effects on the iPad. In addition to hands-on production skills, the class teaches media literacy, helping students navigate the constantly evolving media landscape. Topics such as bias, stereotypes, advertising, and internet safety will be explored, empowering students to think critically about the content they consume and create.
At the end of the course, students will have access to a digital download of their projects to share and enjoy.

followed by a fun hands-on activity
Participants will explore key skills like storytelling, composition, lighting, and video editing, along with techniques such as framing, exposure, using green screens, and adjusting speed and timing. They’ll also get hands-on experience adding voice-overs, sound effects, music, titles, credits, experimenting with special effects, and more!
