Film-making – Be a movie star!
Lights, camera, action! Get ready to write and star in your own original movie. In this exciting live-action filmmaking workshop, students dive into the world of storytelling, character creation, and camera techniques as they work together to bring their ideas to life on screen.
For any students who have dreamed of being in their own movie, this is their chance to make it happen. For kids who are passionate about films, storytelling, or being on camera, they get a chance to play a key role in bringing a one-of-a-kind film to life. Along the way, students learn valuable skills in collaboration, performance, and visual storytelling, all while having a blast on set!
After the workshop, their director will be hard at work, editing their film for them to enjoy, share, and be proud of for years to come!
This fun, collaborative experience is perfect for young filmmakers ready to dream big and express themselves in bold, creative ways.

Stop Motion Animation
Bring your imagination to life in our exciting Stop Motion Animation PED Day Program!
In this fun and creative workshop, students learn how to turn everyday objects—like LEGO, clay, and toys—into animated stories using photos, sound effects and music.
Along the way, they’ll explore the basics of photography, editing, and storytelling as they design characters, build scenes, and create their own short films to download and watch at home or on the big screen with family and friends
Perfect for kids who love building, storytelling, and dreaming up new worlds, this interactive creative experience helps turn big ideas into motion picture magic.
Group size: 20 Students maximum per activity block
Length: 1.5 hours or 2 hours each Workshop.
Can do multiple groups.
Price: $600 – $1,200 range.

Video Production
Have students step into the director’s chair in this exciting, hands-on video production PED Day program! In this exciting and dynamic workshop, students explore key filmmaking skills like cinematography, editing, visual effects, and more. From filming and acting to post-production, students take on every role—learning how to create original videos from the ground up.
Whether behind the camera or in front of it, students gain valuable experience in storytelling, shot composition, editing software, and creative collaboration—essential tools for communicating in today’s digital world.
By the end of the workshop, students will receive a download card with instructions on how to download their video projects to share and be proud of for years to come!

Photo Explorers Lab
ACTIVITY THEMES
Light Painting: Students explore photography through glowing light trails, creative movement, and long-exposure experiments while learning about motion, timing, and visual storytelling.
Forced Perspective, Mind-Bending Illusions: Students use photography tricks and creative staging to create mind-bending illusion photos while developing problem-solving, collaboration, and visual composition skills.
Final Product: A Downloadable Video Slideshow or Slide Deck of the students work will be sent to the school.
