Start Date: TO BE ANNOUNCED
This course covers the different stages of script writing
We look through different ideas and emotions to understand what the goal of the writer is: What story am I trying to tell? And who am I looking to tell it to? We express our world view through our film, so during this course we will seek to understand how to express it in our script by doing brainstorming and using narrative structure.
What is scriptwriting?
A screenplay or script are written works by screenwriters for a movie, tv show, or video game. In them we describe situations, characters, movements, actions, expressions, and of course, dialogue. Before we can imagine and film a movie, we need to write it.
