FUNdamentals of Animation

Participants will learn to capture photos of various expressive mediums using iPads and then assemble them into short animated videos with Stop Motion Studio software.

This activity sparks creativity, encourages teamwork, and promotes problem-solving in a fun, hands-on way. Students will have opportunities to collaborate, sharing ideas and working together to bring their imaginative stories to life. It also helps them develop patience, focus, and communication skills as they work through each step of the animation process.

Students will screen their animations with fellow students in class and be granted a link to download their artwork from home.
